Your pictures
When you use the pattern maker, your picture is read and processed by your own browser. It is never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Patterns and PDFs are also created on your device.
What we collect
We do not have accounts, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the site. Our host, Cloudflare, records standard technical data needed to deliver web pages, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, and keeps it for security and to count visits in aggregate. To count visits we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
Advertising
To keep the site free we may show ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ad Settings or at aboutads.info. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used, through a consent message certified by Google. You can change your choice at any time from the link in that message.
If you write to us, we use your email only to reply. We do not add you to any list.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use, by writing to hello@picturetopattern.com. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
