What you need
The full chart is 57 stitches wide and 105 high: 3,914 full cross stitches in 6 DMC colors, rated intermediate. On 14-count Aida, cut a piece at least 10.5 × 13.5 in (26 × 35 cm), which leaves 3 in spare on every side, and a 10-in hoop holds the whole design. Some colors need more than one skein, so check the table.

Stitching tips
- Plan the name first: the cuff fits up to 6 letters from the alphabet pattern, centered.
- Stitch the white Nordic bands before filling the red around them; it is easier to count.
- To sew it into a real stocking, cut the fabric 1 in outside the design, back it with felt or cotton, and add the loop.
Free for personal use, and you may sell a few pieces you stitched yourself. Details in the terms.
